Squad Leader Enhancements: Taking control of the battle
Squad Leaders are getting a big boost to their profession.
Publish 24 will be bringing us all significant changes and enhancements to the Squad Leader profession. The goal of these enhancements is to keep the essence of the current Squad Leader skills that are focused on leading and enhancing group abilities, and also to make the profession more robust and entertaining to play.
Here's just a few of the things that we've changed:
Squad Leaders no longer need to be the group leader to benefit the group.
Multiple Squad Leaders can combine their skills for greater group enhancement.
New group buffs that give Squad Leaders more control and flexibility for how they enhance the group.
All passive abilities changed to more easily used and understood active abilities.

Ranger Revamp: Here, There be Rangers
When Han Solo, Chewbacca, Ben Kenobi, a boy and two droids made their way from the Mos Eisley cantina to Docking Bay 94, a darkly clad figure in the shadows pointed in the direction to the same docking bay. Shortly after, 30 stormtroopers tried to stop the heroes of the rebellion from escaping!
Set in a science fiction landscape, the Ranger Profession is being seen in the light of an exciting new vision. Rangers are being migrated from a resource harvesting profession to a clandestine spy operations themed profession. To this end, various changes are being made to the ranger skills as well as the currently prerequisite Scout profession.

Knives
In this story, Lady Valarian returns to Star Wars Galaxies and you will be thrust into a world of Lady Valarian versus Jabba the Hutt set against the backdrop of Tatooine and The Lucky Despot Hotel.
She runs a large criminal operation that revolves around gambling and smuggling. Being Jabba the Hutt's biggest competitor on Tatooine, going on this quest will gain you the slightest bit of trust from Lady Valarian, hoping to gain an edge against Jabba. As you dodge and parry your way through the streets and desserts of Tatooine, you will find yourself in between two of Lady Valarian's henchmen: Ind and Kavas.
Kavas is in charge of Valarian's smuggling operation. She is very good at her job but she is suspected of working with a minor street gang that is up to no good. Valarian has started to wonder about some missing shipments and about complaints of sub-standard goods.
Ind doesn't like Kavas and they have been squabbling. Ind has been making threats against Kavas and is just looking for a reason to get into a scrap with him. Lady Valarian has had enough of this in-fighting and she is looking for someone to help her get to the bottom of things.
To get Valarian's attention elsewhere Kavas has decided to frame Ind. Ind has an inclining of this threat and wants to get the dirt on Kavas before Kavas can poison Valarian against her.
Secrets of the Syren Part 5
It is time for the final chapter of "Secrets of the Syren"! In the exciting finally, players will have to coordinate ground and space actions in classic Star Wars action.
Cal Handro may be gone, but someone is still running his business. At this point it's up to you not only figure out who, but to put a complete stop to the bad deeds going on behind the scenes. You'll have to find out who the pirates are and what this new shielding system is for.
Following Secrets of the Syren: Chapter 4, your mission will be laid out on two possible paths, either the Rebel or Imperial. Cal Handro was killed, and now it's time to move on. Or is it? There's still too much activity to be ignored. The Rebels are certain that more slaves are being moved (who could be moving them now?) and the Imperials are still seeing weapons moving across the black market (Did Cal have a partner?). From this point on, you are going to have to fill in the blanks.
Your contact has determined that Cal cut a deal with a group of pirates to keep a shielding system running for him on the ground. You'll face pirates, have to break into a communications array and coordinate the final attack on the ground and in space!

Live Issues are issues reported to us by the Community Forum and Customer Service. Each day, we review issues reported on the forums and your in-game tickets to identify issues important to players. Presented here are some of the top issues that are In Development.
Improving Bria's performance.
Correcting Player Associations so that players are no longer randomly being removed from their guild, and can not be re-added to it.
Changing stacked loot so that it isn't treated as one item when used in schematics.
Adding an indicator of experience earned in space.
Reduce creature and NPC aggro towards people in vehicles.
Removing the "call pet" delay.
Correcting Chief Kerritamba's quest so that in the Arena Challenge to face Wiratu, single and multiple characters are not being prevented from finishing the quest because Wiratu may or may not stop fighting at the end.
Correcting the "Retrieve the Lost Starship Components" so that the quest updates when players defeat the NPC Tomi Jinsin.
Correcting the Myyydril Caverns Creation Quest so that the player will be able to reach the NPC Treun Lorn in the Deep Depths of Myyydril Caverns.
Correcting the Hero of Tatooine quest so that players will be able to use the explosive at the rocky crevice within the Sennex cave to proceed in the Mark of Altruism quest.
Correcting the last cases of Tailoring and Armorsmith crates where clothing and armor pulled from a crate is not retaining it's color customization.
